oh yeah, forgot to add, i read in some article a couple of days ago that a new website may be going up to replace oink, like moo.me.uk or something. i can't remember it exactly, but it had something to do with farm animals. sorry, this post was completely pointless.

i still have connections to private bt forums and a usenet connection, music will always be free.

jesus h, it's only been like a week but i miss oink. i didn't take enough advantage of it while it was up and now that it's gone i cannot stop thinking of old albums i want.

what are you guys using in the meantime, besides that pirate bay thing? i don't care for it. there's gotta be something else.

seriously it sucks.

but i figure this will give me some time to actual listen to music that i already have on my puter. there's a lot of it and i have to start figuring out year end lists soon.

I wonder if it'd be possible to set up our own little private bt or ftp server or something that we could all share our tunes on. We could make lists of what we have and then post them up if anyone wants them.

just an idea and probably a good way to hear new stuff...well at least for me. I'm so out of touch with hip music.

BT servers are pretty easy to set up, and don't require much bandwidth. It shouldn't be that hard.

We could probably do that.

I believe pownce.com is supposed to be like a MySpace but for sharing files and stuff.

I have an invite but I haven't tried it yet. If I log on and find that I can give out invites, I'll send ya'all some.
