I've went nuts lately because my usenet/nzb site has had unlimited dling. So there's tons of crap.

Some of the good ones:
Dan Auerbach - keep it hid - this is the lead singer of the black keys, slower pace, but still good.

Also, that boy crisis album is just the single, but its a great song. In the first 45 seconds of the song they mention frying bacon in a pan, good stuff

Haha, yeah some of that is for Jim too. Seriously, we went through every possible thing we could find or think of, made a list and I went grabbed it all. Hence, all the madonna. Like I'm ever gonna listen to that, but if I'm ever in the mood for some Papa Don't Preach, hey, its there!

hmm works for me, try again. you may need to clear your cache. if you already have the torrent loaded, you may need to restart utorrent.

Or if you still have my old newsgroup info and programs, just load the nzb in grabit:

I've tried m ward in the past and can't get into him. I saw him live years ago and was bored, I think that made it hard for me to like him.

I haven't found too many indie type things this year that aren't already well known that I've really fallen in love with. I've been listening to the Phoenix album though. I guess they're indie pop, however, I can't figure out if its good indie pop or bad indie pop. There are moments when I'm reminded of the shins and then there are times when I think it might be a bit too maroon 5ish. I swore I saw this band years ago open for the FLips, but I can't remember.

Anyway, here's their new single:

Hey Ed, have you heard of Pink Mountaintops? It's a side project that includes members of Black Mountain and GYBE.

Ooh, no I haven't, I'll have to check them out. That sounds fantastic as long as the girl doesn't sing, hehe.

I've actually been liking the new Matt & Kim album quite a bit.

I think this is their second album, I have the older one too - sounds very similar.

Let me know if you can't find them and I'll throw them up somewhere.
