The Fuzz will be playing at Mac's Bar on Saturday, July 30th during a three night event to raise money for Mac's Bar to get a new sound system.  There will be 5 bands each night for ages 18+.  There will be a $7 cover and $1 cans of beer.  All proceeds will help to get a great new sound system for the bar.  Come out and show your support.

The Fuzz will be playing live this Sunday, February 8th at 9 pm at the World Series of Rock held in Kalamazoo at The Club Soda.  This is a battle of the bands competition that will take place over a 3-4 month period with the winning band taking home over $1,000 dollars worth of prizes.

New shows have been added: The Fuzz will be playing two shows in Flint with Kinetic Stereo Kids.  The first will be on Friday, November 14th at Rubes.  The second will be on Tuesday, November 18th at Local 432 with national act Explosions in the Sky from Austin, Texas.  More information for both of these shows will be available as soon as possible.

More information on this Friday's show at The Temple Club:  The Friends of Ingham County Animal Shelter (FICAS) is in desperate need of funds for their animals.  Fifty percent of the door charge will be donated to FICAS.  The lineup for Friday's show will be as follows: 1.Entropy 2.Flatfoot 3.The Hush 4.The Pusherz 5.The Fuzz.

On Friday, October 17th at The Temple Club, The Fuzz will be playing a charity concert for The Red Cross and the Lansing Area Aids Network sponsored by The Lansing NOISE, Q106 and 92.1 The Edge.  Other bands performing are Calliope, Wanderjahr, Wally Pleasant and Carl, Powerface and more.  A compilation CD (including a song by The Fuzz) will be given away free to anyone who gives a donation at the door.

On Friday, October 24th at The Temple Club, The Fuzz will be playing at the 4th Annual Pre-Halloween Castle Bash along with Adam's Castle and Hot Toe Mitty.  Costumes are encouraged.

The Fuzz has been picked to play a showcase at NEMO in Boston on September 6th.  Along with playing, The Fuzz is enrolled in their Emerging Artists Competition. Whichever band receives the most votes online will be the winner of the competition.  The winning artist will receive $2,500 and other prizes. Help support local music by going to www.nemoboston.com. Under announcements, click on "Vote for your favorite showcase band!" and vote for The Fuzz. You can only vote once per email address so if you have multiple email addresses please vote with all of them. The Fuzz is one of only 16 bands out of 1200 submissions to be part of the Disc Makers Independent Music World Series (IMWS) Heavy Hitter Compilation CD ROM. This CD ROM is a great promotional tool that will be sent to labels, radio stations, media and other folks in the industry.

One new show has been added to the 'gigography' section.  The Fuzz will be playing at the RE Olds Festival in downtown Lansing on Saturday, August 16th.  The stage will be outdoors on Michigan Avenue near Emil's and The Green Door.  They are expecting a total of 25,000 to 30,000 people to show up over the weekend.  They will have a beer tent among other things.  More information and our time slot will be posted ASAP.

The Fuzz has been accepted to perform at the NEMO Music Conference and Showcase this year.  This is one of the biggest music conferences in the world.  It is held in Boston on September 5th through September 6th More details will be available as soon as possible.  In the meantime, you can check it out at www.nemoboston.com.  This conference is attended by musicians, booking agents, entertainment lawyers, and record labels.
